There are large trees such as cypress on the south side of the shoin, and a cliff-like mountain approaches to the west, so the garden on the west side is in the shade. I feel as though I have entered a world where things have stopped, moving into mountains. The garden is well-organized and there is a cliff in front of you, so you can feel the same atmosphere as if you entered a Zendo and practiced zazen meditation. People continue to be active throughout their lives, but there is a limit to what they can do. When you feel that you have reached your limit, stop your activities, stop interacting with others, stop even the activities of your mind and mind towards the outside world, go into introspection, and find out what you should do. The garden teaches the importance of staying in a place cut off from the outside world and stopping even the activities of one's own mind.
